Celebrity Phrases that Annoy!!!

I'm sitting here watching nothing much on TV and I saw a rerun of Rachel Ray's 40 dollars a day and decided I couldn't stand her phrase- YUMM-O!! It irritates me along with Emeril's BAM!! Ughhhh!! Are there celebrity voices or phrases that you just can't stand? Who makes you want to tune out and turn off? Thanks for reading!

Nothing comes to mind but I just had to laugh at your post! I agree with you. Luckily I do not watch much TV but there are a lot of people around me that drive me crazy. A big one is "so I turned around and said...." I wonder why they weren't facing that way anyway!

I hate that phrase too...LOL. I always wondered the same thing. Thanks for stopping by. Just for the record, I don't watch muchTV myself and this post is the reason I don't. :)

I totally agree with you on the YUMM-O thing, skinnychick. Drives me crazy! And Rachael Ray has the most irritating voice of any talk show person. I do generally like her recipes, it's just that voice! Her other tardemark phrase "EVOO" also bugs me. It stands for extra virgin olive oil. Also, when she calls sandwiches "sammies". I guess I could go on and on about Rachael Ray...

That is all over her cookbooks too. Ughhh...At least I got those at a garage sale. LOL I like her recipes too. Now if she would just not speak, she would be perfect. :) Thanks for the response.

ANYTHING rachel ray says.."delish"..say the whole damn word! "shamwow" "seacrest,out" "micky d's"(again,say the whole word) the godawful laugh fran drescher has or the oxy-clean guy who has to yell the word every 2 seconds.

Hello, I stopped watching Rachael Ray because she just annoyed me. The Yumo really sealed the deal.I juist dont like her voice ,there is something about it. I do still love Emeril thought ;) And I feel the Simon Love . I love that bad boy !! hehe
