Pets and their owners are just like married couples and they get more alike over time, according to Professor Richard Wiseman of the University of Hertfordshire in the UK, who surveyed almost 2500 pet lovers about their characters and those of their pets. He discovered that the longer animals has been with their owners, the more likely they were to share similar traits. He found people who have dogs believe they are cheerful and fun-loving, while cat lovers consider themselves dependable and sensitive. Fish owners are apparently the most contented, while those who keep reptiles are the most independent. Keep posting, Mickey

Good info. I think I will agree with this. Because when the owner and their pets gets along with each other for sometime, its really normal to develop common traits. This is shown by their compatibility and being happy with each other.

Watching fish in an aquarium is said to be very relaxing and I think there is some truth in the theory that fishkeepers will feel contented. Anyone who keeps reptiles will think themself independent as they are doing being different in their choice of pets. Most dog owners will have fun playing with their pet. I don't know why owning a cat will make a person sensitive and dependable. Maybe it's because the cat will depend on its owner to feed it and take care of it.
