MyLot Gripe and Suggestion...

MyLot is a great site with lots of great people on it. But if something goes wrong, it is very hard if not impossible to get the matter to the attention of the administrators of the site. * For example, users are having their stars go down for inexplicable reasons. No one, including the users and those who interact with them, can comprehend why this is going on. It is a known fact we have less than honest people, known as trolls, negative click spammers, people who do negative things for no apparent reason. We've even had to deal with viruses and Trojans making their way about the site via links. * To fix this star problem some friends are having, and other mentioned problems, I wish that MyLot staff was just a little more accessible. A report line for weirdness?

I've had to contact MyLot a few times and every time they've been really good about getting right back to me. Perhaps they were just backed up at the time...or it may have been that they've received numerous star complaints and are addressing the problems with other staff. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Just hit the ~!~ button when someone ticks you off with a post that sends you up a wall. Enough people do that enough to a spammer, that's going to get him or her attention from someone somewhere on the staff. The easiest method for the staff to deal with these chronic spammers is a ban.

I don't know what it is that needs to be done, but something has to happen. We could just simply say hire more staff, but that would cut into our earnings to pay them. I had the idea that admin make it so people have to give a reason to rate someone negative, and then it has to be looked at and approved, but that would take up too much time. This is a big problem indeed, and something needs to be done. Just what is the question.

I very much agree, we do have a troll/spam problem here on MyLot.
