hi everyone i had a fall about two months ago and i got compensation of 80 pounds from the council but people keep saying to me that i should seek a solicitor to get more but the thing is that i have had this 80 pounds from them and i don't what to do. would you seek a solicitor for more even though you have had the 80 pounds

I suppose it depends onnwhether you feel cheated by only geting £80 pounds and how bad the fall was? If you was hurt badly then £80 is not really a lot of money but, as you say it may be difficult to open up anway if you have already accepted a form of payment unless it was just offered to you without you actually making a complaint in the first place. Hope it goes well for you whatever you decided to do and hope you aren't hurt too badly!

hi thanks for the response i was hurt badly by doing my tendon in my knee.i did complain and they offered me the 80pounds when i did this but people are still telling me to get more

I would only try for more if you want to despite what everyone else tells you to do - it can be long winded and a pain so it's not worth it if you actually aren't bothered by getting any more money! x
