Where do you write?

So I love to write... I blog on my Myspace, I'm a member of Livejournal, I recently joined myLot, I write in my journal, and often I write on random scraps of paper. Writing has been like therapy for me... For all four of my high school years, my pen was my best friend. Don't get me wrong though, as a writer, I've had some horrible writer's block. And often I don't even like the things I write. I burned my first year's worth of journals, just because I hated everything I wrote. What stinks is that looking back now, I know I had some great stuff written in those. Hind sight is 20/20 though.
Where do you write all of your work, or journal entries? Are you a member of other blogging-type sites?

I like to journal, that is where I do about 98 percent of my writing. Like you I wrote in high school, but it was mostly poetry. I was having such a hard time then that now the poems are difficult for me to read. I have had writers block for the past week. I have been trying to write this play, but it turned into this thing that I can not even explain. But I am not member of any other site where I can just write other than this.

I'm sorry to hear you have that horrible affliction of writer's block. I applaud you in being able to even attempt to write a play! I hope it turns out for the best! Good luck! :-)

I tend to write more freehand than type, mostly because I NEED A LAPTOP, I hate sitting at my desktop to do everything... I really do. If I had a laptop I could go outside and write or something but sadly i will just freehand it for a while lol. I like writing in many different places as it keeps my mind working and thinking. I haven't written much due to writers block. But places like this and message boards help me a lot.

:-) I too need a laptop... My desktop is great... But seriously, I need the freedom of a laptop. Haha... I write freehand often too. Mainly because I could in the middle of the mall on a Saturday when every monkey and his uncle is there, and some beginning to a poem or short story will just pop in my head. If I don't write things down quickly they slip away. :-)

all my personal writings are loosely held by a couple of rusty fastener. these bounded sheets are kept, or should i say hidden--away from disapproving eyes. i used to have a blog, but my parents and siblings read the same. in there i poured my heart out, all my emotions, i was embarrassed.

I know the feeling of having to hide away what you write... Have you ever considered using Livejournal.com? As I said, I'm a member myself. It's nice, you can even "hide" your work on there, you have the option of setting your entries as private... It's just an idea. :-)
