The first movie in the Harry Potter series is a nice movie. Harry, Ron and Hermione are so young and cute! I have this movie on tape, and never hesitate to watch it. It's funny, heartwarming and very enjoyable :)

I'll probably be in the minority on this, but the first movie is still my favorite. I don't know if it was just because it was so fun to see the books I loved so much coming to life on the big screen or what. But I also think that, for me, this movie of all of them seemed to capture the book just how I had pictured it. The second movie of course is much the same. From the 3rd movie on, I felt like the scenery and mood was too dark and artsy for me. Wizards not wearing their robes very often, etc. took some of the magic out of it. Not that I don't watch them too :-D

I enjoy all the Harry Potter movies and books. Watching the first one they do look so young in it I agree. Seeing them grow up in the other movies is neat to see. They were smart in not doing them all at once so that they could show the age differences. The first movie though is very heartwarming and has a lot of funny scenes to it. It is one of my favorites. I would say in any given week I'll watch one of the movies.
