Male cat eats away cute pup

Next to my house they have DOB dog which gave birth to 5 little cute pups the 5th day a fat big male cat came that way meanwhile the mother dog went to pass stool male cat grabbed a small pup was about to run that female dob bounced upon him both had a fight the male managed to run away in life to death situation but that small pup almost dead half eaten have you ever witnessed this kind of situation

I've actually seen worse,male and female cats eat their own kittens quite often. Supposedly,one of the reasons is that they smell either a human or another cat on their territory. Now,a cat trying to eat a puppy?! I guess it's pure malevolence
