It's springtime and this is the time for gardening... whether flowers or veggetables, this is the time for working in a garden.
We have a garden in the backyard. Hubby is now working on it to prepare it for the planting of veggetables. It is a plot garden. He likes plot garden digging, raking, cleaning. He likes the dirty work. But for me, I rather buy the ones in the plot and just water it.
I appreciate plants but I don't like the dirty work.
So what about you? Which kind will you be having for a garden?

Hello, ruthinian! you know gardening is a good exercise.it may be a small plot or in pots you need to do something.you can plant just decorative plants or some vegetables in your garden which can help you a lot in these days of food crisis.i like to work in my garden daily in the morning.i am maintaining a kitchen garden what ever place is left and planted some flower plants in the pots as it is required by us at the time of worship.we offer flowers to God at the prayer time.i have kept these flower pots over the roof.i give these plants water daily. thank you.

That is good to know. I like the herbs pot in my kitchen because I can easily get the fresh seasoning whenever I am cooking.

My mother loves flowers a lot. But both my parents keep a vegetable garden at the back of our house. If it's vegetable, they would plant it on the ground, they would make some beds or you call it plot. If it's flowers, mostly of my mother's flowers are planted in a pot. She has lots of those around the house. hehehe.. My father would throw some of them without knowing of my mother because she would surely would cry or something. My father thinks if he won't arrange the pots around the house, they would surely be living like in the middle of a forest. hehehe..

Flowers are both pretty in the garden or in the pot. I like the potted flowers inside the house and the flowers in the garden when it is part of the landscape.

I live in a flat now so I don't have a garden anymore, I'd like one though as things grow better in the ground and many vegetables it just isn't possible to grow indoors. I am growing some chilli's in pots in my kitchen this year and some catnip for the cats which is going well so far.

Yes, those herbs plants in the pots in the kitchen are cool. It is easy to access when you need them for seasoning or cooking.
