Traffic Exchanges?

SEO is is no walk in the park. What about traffic exchanges, are they a good way to get people to visit your website? Anyone doing traffic exchanges? Are they going to be search engine killers, or just little davids throwing pebbles at the giants with no hope in hell than a snowflake?

Traffic exchanges do get visitors to your site. However, the visitor quality is very low. Few people will actually buy/signup for or whatever. Not really the same thing as search engines, as search engine users tend to be looking for something specific.

I think you're right about visitor quality. I suppose the exposure you get would be equal or less than the time you spend visiting other sites. One plus might be that you visit other sites and see what's out there.
