Last few nights, I have been waking up slowly and hear noises. I just started noticing, that the sound is coming from my nose. I think it is a snore. Do you snore?

I tell myself no, not ususually, but know that if I have clogged nostrils I am likely to snore. Otherwise, I think that I sleep quietly.

I'm glad that you are getting better sleep now... I have one friend, you know of her, who has sleep apnea... was scary to hear her snore. I am so glad that you are free of that problem. Hugs to you this day.

I am glad you mentioned that about nostrils. I had a dear friend suggest nose spray and it seems to help me get back to sleep.

Hey ailina I think it is not possible for some one to listen snores sound if he/she is in sound sleep. However I am not a snorer and I hate such sound. Whenever I travelled in train unfortunately I met two to three people in my compartment who snoring with high volume, which irritate me , but nothing to say. I have to bear all such nuisance. pkc3000

Snoring on a small space such as a train would be really maddening.

my mom hears her own loud snore and wake, but definitely she will not be in sound sleep. I too had same experience during travel. its very irritating as well as tiring (due to lack of sleep in the night)

I am glad you share the humor with me. It is humbling to remember we are human! Here's to the good stuff and the annoying stuff (like snoring).

How do you know if you snore when your asleep, if your awake then its not snoring as you have to be asleep to snore ????? Ive been told I snore if im drunk and lying on my back, no other time do I snore. If you notice it when you wake up then maybe you have a blocked nose, a cold or sinuses maybe ??

Can't you tell just when you are waking up? Could be a sinus thing.
