Well i live in the U.S and i have 5 chickens that i raise as pets. They're really gothedelic creatures and I LOOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE them SO MUCH!!! I had two rhodies and now i have three baby chicks, im not sure what type they are. In the 5 i have 4 are hens and 1 is a rooster. No i don't live on a farm, i actually live in a townhome. xD im not sure how that works out but it does and i wouldnt have it any other way because i love chickens with a passion. Hehe i would say im obsessed but obsession is such an ugly word..;)

We have two chickens and consider them pets. A chicken farmer gave them to us and we hope they will lay eggs, but he didn't know if they would for sure. If they don't they will be pets. They are highly entertaining but they are a bit smelly. Two of them isn't bad though. And NO ROOSTER! They will help fertilize our garden and get rid of bugs. I made a portable run for them that I can move to whichever spot I want fertilized or I can move them away from a spot before they tear up all the foilage.
We live in a rural area.
