i started looking for a job since february this year. Im a nursing graduate and i passed my board exam too. but until now i dont have my my license id which is one of the requirements of hospitals for application. before all we need is the certificate that we passed the board exam. i'd been to different hospitals but im not lucky enough to find a job opening. i know God have His plan and purpose for me. im just getting bored of doing notheing. actually im really blessed to have parents that doesn't pressure to find a job. its just my self, my ego... advice, counsel and your experience would be a great help and encouragement for me... thanks and have a nice day.

It's always like that when we start to build our career, you are very blessed to finish the course and for passing the exam. You may volunteer this time while waiting your license ,so at least you can also help, serve and enhance more of your skills in your profession but if you don't like it, just relax first, anyway, when you will start working, you will be very busy and that's all the way until you will retire! Enjoy this time!

i see..wow! quite long time to be relaxed, I understand your feeling! I remember my officemate sharing me also about her brother who end up working in call center instead of working in a hospital as a nurse since, he earns good in the first option! Maybe you can search job online, like considering working abroad!

It's really hard looking for a job nowadays. You have to be very patient my friend. I am sure that there are many companies especially hospitals out there in search for a nurse. Were you told by PRC as to when you will be able to get your license ID? I have a friend who passed the recent board exam. Just like you, she doesn't have her license ID yet. She applied as a company nurse in a big multinational company here in the Philippines and she was lucky to get in even with just the certification from PRC. Anyway, do you have plans going abroad? If so, why don't you work on other exams that you need to take while you are still looking for a job. Who knows? You might just be able to make it overseas. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you all the best. Take care and God Bless!

actually i haven't registered my license yet. my schedule is on thursday, since my surname starts with letter R. im a june 2006 passer. and im one of the casualties of the leakage issue. last year i already took my US exam but unfortunately i failed. so i opted to waive my license and take the whole exam again last december. i have plans to work in middle east but my prc documents are still on the process. it will take 6 months from my registration to get my certificate.. im really frustrated to all the offers that came to. i rejected those opportunities because i still dont have mt documents.

Why can you not get the License ID Number?

my schedule for registration is on thursday and they will release my license id into months from that day. i don't know why it needs to be processed in 2 months. i have this organization that gave me my id in just 2 minutes. it also looks like the license id.

There are many newly graduate young people who are looking for a job and usually get depressed when they fail to find one. But I think, if we broaden our thinking, we can find something worth doing even if it's not in-line with the course we finish. Why not think of starting a small business based on your previous experience? You have spent much and if you think that the money you spent was used to start your small business then, it might be bigger today!
