Riding, which is a relatively new hobby to me, one I discovered late but wish I had started earlier. In fact anything that gets me out in to the woods is nice, just walking there with my dogs. I also like repairing or making things from scratch.
all the best urban

i make my own cards, gift tags, magnets and whatnot, crochet, x stitch and that sort of thing. as for collections, i guess my current one would be antique post cards (i have collected antique books, cobalt blue glass, flower frogs) i have sold some of my cards and stuff, but it is certainly not an easy task.

I like to read and, on occasion, I can be a bit crafty with everything from painting and decorating nick nacks to needle point things. But, I have to sort of get into a mood to do all the crafty stuff and, when I do, I will craft for a couple weeks and then get bored or burnt out with it for a while. It has been a while since I got crafty! LOL!
I don't sell any of my stuff. I like to make things for my home and for family. But, I think you should sell the things you make! It is a good way to make a profit and, it also gives you a sense of pride to know people think enough of your abilities and talents to pay for it! Go for it!

my hobbies are doing an hour on the heavy bag, if posible if my knuckles still can take it ill do it everyday, passing time on the net, movies, tvs, books, play guitar, i think the best livelihood is the one that you enjoy doing, so if you think you can make money on some of your hobbies, go for it, and goodluck to you

My hobbies are photography and web design. I've also recently started digital scrapbooking as well. I take photographs all the time as that is my number one hobby, and I like to photograph animals the most. My dog and my hamster are used to my little photoshoots.
I haven't designed any new web layouts in a while but I want to get back into that soon. I just haven't had the time since I moved closer to my mom and the kids.
I used to love to paint too :) I was really good at it and then I just turned a bit rubbish!
I would love to be able to profit from my hobbies too. What could be better than doing something you enjoy and getting paid for it?

If you can make a profit from doing something you love, I see absolutely nothing wrong with it. It's always nice when you enjoy your job/career, whether it's part time, full time, or occasional, so, if you're profiting from your hobby, you're a very lucky guy. Go for it!
My hobby and career is writing and other areas of an artistic nature such as visual arts, photography, music, etc.
Cooking is also a hobby. When I have the time to do it, I love to try out new recipes, make more of well-known ones, etc.
Home decorating is another hobby of an artistic nature. Right now, I need to do some housekeeping in order to be able to decorate/arrange my place as I'd really like to have it.
Travel is a great hobby--and I often couple it up with my other creative hobbies.

I like to do polymer clay crafts. I have made a few dolls with polymer clay and other little figurines. I have always loved to draw and in the last few days I have started acrylic painting. I am not good enough to sell any. Maybe with practice I will get a little better though. I would like to take a class but don't know how I'd be able to.

I love walking too! I try to walk around for 15 minutes everyday! I love reading a lot and basically I have too many books at home (still want to get more!). Currently I love playing with my digital camera and practice with it. I want to get involved more in this hobby and hopefully be good at it!

My hobbies are fairly solitary. I like to read (SF mostly) and I like watching films (old-style horror and SF mostly). I have a small collection of space memoribilia and I like to do a bit of target shooting. Nothing I could make any money out of, unfortunately.

That is a good way to make money. Selling your hobbies. The thing about it is you enjoyed making it and that will show in your work.
My hobbies are reading, walking, and when the weather gets warm swimming. I don't do any kind of crafts.

I also do walking everyday, from my place to where I will get my ride. I know walking is good so I usually do the walking. Once in a while I play badminton and do some aerobis exercises. I also like painting but my hands is not good on it. So I started framing beautiful pictures and arts and I like it. In fact I wanted to sell some but it goes to some of my friends. Now i like to play games in the computer and do mylotting. I am busy also with my work so I got no time for some of my hobbies.

I think turning a hobby into a money making activity should be done if you are good at it. People will always want to buy arts and crafts. If you can find somewhere to sell, you should give it a go.
Walking is one of my hobbies too, and watching wildlife. I won't ever make money from it but it costs me nothing to do it. I do make money from writing, which some people would consider to be a hobby.
