Why do you live frugaly?

Why live frugally? First, because it allows you to spend less than you earn, and use the difference to pay off debt, save or invest. Or all three. Second, because the less you spend, the less you need to earn. And that means you can choose to work less, or work more but retire early. You have more options with a frugal lifestyle. I love the challenge of getting the most out of my money. I work hard to make our money go as far as it does.

I always try to make my money go as far as I can so we will still have soe for later.

I do it to make ends meet. With only 1 income and taking care of a disabled child, and prices going up, it is really getting rough.

It is getting harder and harder to make ends meet for all of us. Prices are growing out of control. I only hope we will be able to keep up with it.

we live frugaly because my hubby and only work part time so we have to live frugaly to keep our family of 4 going (yes, he is looking for a new job) but for now, i love the challenge of saving money and shipping at thrift stores and when he gets a new job, we still will prolly live the way we are now because we will have to save for our daughter's education and retirement!

We started to live frugaly because we had to and now that we have lived frugaly for so long we dont need to anymore but I cant imagine living any other way. We live on one income and for a long time it was hard to get by, we have paid a lot of things off and now we live okay and even put some aside. I know it is because of choices we made early on.

I live frugally because I can't afford to live any other way at the moment, it's really starting to get to me. Not having enough money to live comfortably at least is really stressful sometimes. I'm managing to keep on top of bills at least but there's nothing left over at the end of the week to treat ourselves with and barely enough food to last us till next pay day.

It is a lot more stressful to make it work when it is the only option you have. It is very hard to make money go as far as it needs to. I have been there and now I live frugal because I feel it is the right way to live. I know I am happier for it.
