So Hoity Toity...why aren't your kids better behaved?

I see that no one else has claimed this as an interest, but, neither did I until today so, I am just hoping that people just haven't gotten around to it. So, did you watch this show? The reunion is this week. I am hoping there will be some drama. The women on this branch of "Real Housewives" were catty and they all spoke their minds. It was hilarious. One couple, Alex and Simon, drove my hubby and I crazy. First of all, they thought they were the most beautiful, most fabulous, best dressed, upper crust people in NYC. First of all, they were both not exactly pretty. The clothes they wore were tacky to another level and, they really just weren't all that. Then, they spent the entire time talking about what private school they would be getting their son into. Their son's name is Francois. They have another son whose name is Yohon (sp). Yup...poor kids will get their butts beaten. So, Francois is like 2 or 3 and, in the end, he is not in a private school but one of the best public schools (according to Alex and Simon) in NYC. In the finale, the ladies put together a semi-formal dinner at a nice, expensive club in NYC and Alex and Simon brought their sons. Francois ran around behind the other guests screaming at the top of his lungs to the dismay of the other guests. Then, one of the other ladies ordered her boyfriend (who was running late due to work) that restaurant's famous $30 burger. He took a bite...perhaps 2, and Francois used his filthy kangaroo toy to stab at the guys burger making it impossible for the poor guy to eat. The father's response, instead of stopping his brat from demolishing another person's meal, was, "You have kids, right?" To which the guy said yes. And, Simon then said, "Well, then you know how they can be." Meanwhile, his brat is still demolishing the guy's burger. Simon and Alex just sat that and watched it happening as they explained it away with, "Kids". WTF? Do your dang job. Get up, grab brat and wack him on the butt for being a brat! Tell him "NO!" Let him know there will be no more screaming and no more demolishing other people's $30 burgers with your filthy plastic kangaroo toy. What is wrong with parents these days? And, not all parents. Just those who seem to think that their little darlings can do no wrong at the expense of other people's property, food, belongings, contentment, and sanity? Would you have let your child get away with such behavior? I was floored. They bragged the entire season about how great Francois is. Francois can speak French...not really. Francois is brilliant and will get into many of the private schools they applied to...nope...not even one! Francois is so well-behaved and so much above the rest of the kids his age...ummmm, my 8 month old niece is smarter than your 2 or 3 year old genius! Ugh! I was thrown! I couldn't believe what I was watching. They prided themselves on their class and their cultured this that and the next thing. Ugly hair! Ugly clothes! Ugly faces! Ugly personalities! UGLY!

OMG That annoy the heck out of me to. Between Romona's issues and those kids running around, it is amazing anyone had a good time at that dinner. It is so weird to me that the kid can speak like 5 languages, but can no t behave at dinner. I know he is only 4, but the kid was behaved earlier in the show when the family wen tout to eat. Alex & Her hubby are weird to begin with.

LOL! Ramona is a mess! I didn't agree with how she gave Alex and Simon attitude for him crashing their Girls' Night Out but, that was wrong of him to go and for Alex to invite him. The first thing Bethanny and Jill (was that her name) said to her when they extended that invite was that it was a Girls' Night Out for girls only. Then, Alex immediately asked if she could bring Simon. And, while Bethanny didn't specifically say "No!", I thought she still made herself pretty clear that it wasn't preferred. But, still...Ramona should have just kept it quiet and perhaps vented to Bethanny later. Then, for her to bring it back up at the formal dinner, wtf? Sheesh! Let it go. Apologize and move on. And, then she got even more annoyed with them about Francois. LOL! But, at that point, who could blame her? I have a hard time understanding how the kid can speak 5 languages too and yet, he can't keep himself in check at dinner. I don't understand why they had to bring him. It was a semi-formal environment. Would or did your parents take you to an event like that when you were his age? Mine didn't. They left us with a baby sitter and made it a date night. We would have had no business at such an adult function. Alex and Simon have a nanny...oh, sorry...an au pair (sp) so, why couldn't she mind the kids at home while the Hoity Toities went out on date night? And, that is the understatement of the century that Alex and her hubby are weird to begin with! LOL!
