Readymade products never do a lasting good. Make the following mixture at home. It is very simple. GLYCERINE 50ml ROSE WATER 50ml Lemon juice 2 spoons Mix them by shaking in a bottle. Apply it on face, arms etc at night or anytime you like. It is not sticky. But if dryness is a result of some internal factors, you may have to eat substances like milk cream that counter dryness. Increase liquid intake.

have you tried sitting in a bath of epsom salts that usually sooths the skin. There there is cocobutter, or vaseline intensive care or prescription medication from a dermatologist.

You may want to consider what is causing your dry skin before you jump in a buy something that only solves the problem short term. In Ayurveda ( which means The Science of Life)there are body types that cause us to have different skin problems these body types are called 'dosha' and depending on what the dosha is will effect you and your skin. At 60 it is likley that you are suffering from a 'Vata' complaint which is about being dry, unable to sleep well, often worrying, feeling the cold and pretty indecisive, if that fits you in a few ways you are likley to be or have a Vata complaint. If you wanted to be really sure you could visit this site www.doshaforlife.com and do their online questionnaire that determines what your body type is. If you do that and want to come back to me for advice on what to do - I will be happy to help. Good luck

Hi Dixie, Age brings out some anomalies in our body. Drink more fluids, particularly water. See if you have been drinking enough water and other fluids. You need to drink more water as we get older as our body needs to clean up. Try to drink more water and diluted fruit juices and tender coconut etc. Your dryness will go by itself. It should , if it doesn't you can try out Ayurveda as the other mylotter had told you. All the best
