children understand electronics better then some adults now days

I was watching my 6yr old niece today and i was amazed that she can use the computer better then some adults today. kids are amazingly smart. do you agree? what types of things have you seen children do that amazed you?

I am amazed how my 9 year old can surf the internet for things he is looking for like certain games. I will say he is better than me at times LOL.

Children find it much easier to learn how to use computers and other electronic equipment because they do not the apprehension that an adult would possess. A new computer user is often wary of doing something to cause a problem, whereas a child will simply carry on and not care, so the learning curve is far sharper.

My daughter is four and uses the computer every so often. She plays a few games on Noggin.com and the website for PlayHouse Disney. I was amazed with how quick she picked up using the computer. She can use the mouse really well and can type her name pretty quick.
