utah won game 4 and is up in the series 3 - 1. this series is over and i think tmac has mailed it in. don't expect houston to extend this series. jazz wins it in impressive fashion in game 5 and moves on to the next round.

i couldn't be any wrong in this one. it was the jazz who mailed the game. they managed to only score 14 points in the 4th quarter and finish the game with 69 points. are these professional players? i hope dwill, boozer, ak47, and the rest of the jazz team show up next game to finish the series. they cannot afford to lose and go back to houston for a deciding game 7. los angeles is already waiting in the wings for the winner of this series. i think utah puts up a superb performance in game 6 and wins the series 4 - 2.

utah finally hands tmac his 7th (or is it 8th) straight first-round play-off loss. utah was firing on all ends and it was just too much the rockets to handle. utah now faces kobe and the lakers and i expect utah to steal one game at los angeles. i don't have a clear pick yet. i'm still looking at soem numbers and trends and i'll get back with a pick later on. utah is proving to be a contender in the west. last year, they were in the western finals and i think they lack one or two pieces for them to go all the way. they will greatly benefit from this series with los angeles and both teams' weaknesses will be exposed in this series.

utah has won two games in houston for a 2 - 0 lead. how can houston win without yao is beyond me. t-mac has yet to win a play-off series and this year, the jazz will make sure that t-mac remains winless. bring out the brooms, utah sweeps houston. utah 4 - 0 over houston.
