Corn!!! I love corn on the cob!!! Each summer I am waiting for the time I can get my corn, put some salt pepper and butter, roll it in foil and drop it in the bbq.
I know I sound to excited about a small thing, but let me explain how back home we never ate corn. Corn was what people gave to the chicken LOL So for many years after I got here I never even paid attention to it.
Until one day we went to a friend's house for a bbq and there it was.. really nice, colorful and most of all .. very tasty.
So now I love it.
Do you like corn? Do you wait for summer to come to have your bbq corn?

I like corn on the cob,and I think it tastes really good,and it goes good with meals,I dont like it with a lot of butter though,and usually we have it from time to time,but not always at summer,even though I dont like bbq because I think it tastes nasty.

yeah I agree the way you enjoy it is more important than how it is cooked,and I know some people like alot of butter and some like only a little butter.

I like corn on the cob, but I don't love it. I'm not that crazy about it when someone serves it because it's so messy to eat!
It's funny, but so many people have told me how much they love corn on the BBQ, but I've never had a chance to eat it! I can look forward to that opportunity!

i love corn with butter and salt. grilled, boiled, steamed. i love them all. never tried microwaving them though :P
i also love honey on my corn. boiled/steamed corn + butter + salt + honey or just corn + honey. usually the corn is boiled with some salt so the corn will have slightly salty taste. i put a lot of honey on the corn and put more when i finish eating one row and moving to the next
grilled corn with butter and salt. yummy. steam the corn until half done and grill until it's done. won't dry the corn too much. grilled corn with lots of butter... i'm hungry now (almost drooling. lol)

It's funny to think that I like it so much now, twin. I swear nobody would eat it back home when I was growing up. I think I found a dish with corn up in the small villages in the north and whenever I talked about it everyone would be surprised and comment that corn was to feed the chicken LOL
Boy did I loose some corn time hehehehe

Oh I so love corn on the cob. Even my son loves it so we will be eating lots but summer is always the best it just seems to taste so much better grilled.

I too, love corn on the cob and learned from this discussion a new way to cook it.
What a great idea to do it in the microwave, no mess and no fuss. I usually boil it. I don't barbecue very much cause I don't have a cooker, but the microwave idea sure sounds easy. Looking forward to trying that.

i do love corn also. especially when i put some margarine and a cheesepowder with some sugar in it. yummy
