intuition vs. paranoid thinking

we all do have our intuition. how do you respond to it? and how do you know its your intuition or just plain imagination?
example of these is your better half playing behind your back.

nothing to do with 'lovers', all survial instinct is basic...the trouble is romance skews our basically good instinct and we doubt ourselves based on I think three basic ideas...we don't want to be alone, we will lose something we have, or we will not get what we think we want. If you can clear out these insecurities..that is, i have to look at what drives my fears..then i can get to what is really going on...that's when i get the pleasure of following my instinct covering my butt and then when the crap all comes crashing down..well...i am prepaired as good as anyone to get on with living...and learn from the situation...And actuall get better a making RIGHT choices that don't end up in confused relational situations.
