Were you a "Back to the Future" fan?

"Back to the Future" (#1) was one of the first movies we rented, when the VHS machines came out.. Or the first time we rented one anyway.. I watched it with my kids, and we just loved that movie! Then of course we watched the sequels, which I didn't think were quite as good, but still very good.. Now years later, my granddaughter likes "Back to the Future 3".. Were you a fan of these movies? Have you even seen them?

I saw the first movie in the theaters as a teenager and I then dragged my sister to go see it. I loved it and so did she. When the sequels came out we went and saw them as well and boy were we upset at the end of 2 and it left you hanging. We couldn't wait for the third to come out. When it came out on DVD in the gift set we bought it. I did at one time have a license plate for the front of my car that had the time machine car with the fire trail and it stated "Out of Time". I got it at Universal Studies but someone stole it off my car and now they don't have them anymore so I can't buy a replacement.

I can see where that would be a popular license plate! shameful someone would steal it.. Seems tho they wouldn't be able to use it, and if they stole it to make some sort of getaway, it doesn't seem like a good choice!

I loved having it. Maybe I'll get lucky and find another one at some point. They used to have a Back to the Future ride at Universal. It was a great ride but they got rid of it this year. They are putting in a Simpsons ride instead

I absolutely loved those movies!! I still watch them! The run them on tv sometimes and I can't help but sit down and watch them. My mom has all 3 on tape. I'm looking to get them all on dvd. I want to get a few of the movies that came out in that time period. I was just talking in another discussion a few weeks ago about the Goonies. another good movie.

Oh yeah, "The Goonies"! That wAs a good movie! Watched that with my kids too.. we saw parts of it not too long ago.. - I wouldn't mind having all the back to the future's recorded! You're right about the time period.. I'm thinking "Neverending Story".. "Jewel of the Nile"..

I like that very much specially the theme song "Power of Love" and the DeLorean car wow. I agree the sequels is not as good but their great.

That's right! I forgot about the song! (It's been so long since I've seen the movie!) I love that song! Gotta love that car too!

I love those movies and drive my partner mad by insisting we watch them everytime they are repeated on the tv, my eldest daughter is 4 and she really enjoys them too my youngest is too little to care really at only 2 lol
