If you could have a bit more time.

I get up in the morning, have my coffee and a smoke (no lectures please) and open my emails and mylot. Next thing you know, I'm in a panic because the time has just flown by and I've got to get ready for work, with less time than I would have preferred to give myself. In the evenings, it also seems like the hours aren't nearly long enough for all I'd like to get done. My house is a mess, I haven't entered nearly as many comments back on my responses as I'd like and my eyes are becoming weary. I push myself to stay up though, because I know if I don't tomorrow morning will be right on top of me and I want to extend the day as long as I can. If you were to be given a little extra time would you prefer it in the morning or in the evening and why?

KKKB - know what you mean! I think it is just cause we enjoy it so much, time flys when you are having fun! THose days at DIsneyland and at the beach or hiking in the mountains - those fun things - even the days the grand babies come to visit....just not enough time, but boy that household chore list sure does take a LOOONNNNGGGG time to get completed, even if you are working steadily!

i would prefer it in the evening because through out the week i only see my boyfriend at night. SO i would like to extend the hours at night so i will be able to see him more and be able to spend more time with him.

I have been there and done that... Once you get addicted to the internet... nothing else seem to matter... Be very careful not to let the internet rule your life. When I was working... the evenings were never long enough... and I was on the internet until 3AM 7 days a week. Never had the time to go on it in the morning.

I get up early just so that I can check on my email and mylot. As for being addicted to the internet. Too late. I don't stay on nearly as late as I used to though. I'm really too tired. I usually stay up late enough to watch a television show at 11 and then at midnight I call it a night.

U r right, i know i should never let internet rule my life, but the moment i come to use it, i can't stop. Time is always limited when i really decide to do sth.

I don't need any more time! I have much more than I need as it is. I'm on Social Security, had a part time job that I stupidly quit when my Mom passed away in January because I wasn't making good decisions at the time. Right now I'm taking care of my ex who is recovering from heart surgery so I have nothing but time!

Although it doesn't sound like you are really happy with your spare time, there are many who would give their eye teeth for it. LOL.

Why don't use this spare time to learn sth. my work is easy, but i also find that i have lots of knowledge to learn about within a limited time. and if i didn't make it, i feel frustrated. always feel depressed

During the week I don't need any extra time. I have plenty to spare. On the weekend when my husband is home I would love some though. The weekends seem to slip by before we know it! I am at home all day alone with the baby and I get so bored. I am homesick and I don't know anyone here so that doesn't help. Now that the weather is getting warmer I am hoping to spend some extra time outside.

I'm sorry that you are homesick. What is your circumstances that keeps you away from home?

My husband is military so the place that we live I don't consider "home".

I think that I would like it both ends of the day and a little in the middle too. I usually hit the computer, unwashed, undressed - don't get excited now. It's not pretty - and with a mug of tea for company about 7.30am. If I am not careful I can still be there, in the same state at 10. So if each minute at that time of the day could be say 90 seconds that would help. At the end of the day things on the Lot just start hotting up as I am ready for bed. Sometimes I do stay on late, but that just means that the next day I wake up grumpy as I do need my sleep. If I were ever to be tortured, sleep deprivation would have me singing like a bird. Sometimes, if I am lucky, I can get up and catch at least one US friend, ahem Katherine, before they go to bed. But then all I do is nag at them for staying up late! The time in the middle of the day would be used to do all the chores that I should have done if I hadn't spent so long on the Lot.

I wouldn't call it nagging, I'd call it a careful reminder. LOL. And always a much appreciated one at that.

I always have had wanted more time... for vacation. Seriously speaking, when there is so much to be done, it seems that time flies too fast. It seems that you can't just accomplish anything. But when you are not doing anything, time seems to go on forever. When there is so much to be accomplished, I always do wish that I have had more time. I have the tendency to procrastinate so when the deadline for something I need to do is just around the corner, that is when I stress myself with a lot of work. I do multitasking and though I am good at it, I still wish I have had more time to do things. Well, if I were to be given a little extra time, I hope I would have some in the morning and some in the evening.

I tend to think time flies no matter what, except when you are at work and dying to go home. LOL.

Well, you will not get a lecture off me, as I do exactly the same in a morning!! I would want the extra time for the evening, I am useless in the morning anyway and never get going until after I have taken the kids to school. But my days are just like yours, never enough time for anything, but if I have the extra time in the evening, then once the kids are in bed and settled then I can put that quiet time to good use!!

I feel in the same way. It seems that time is not enough for me. Yes, I am well aware that there are 24 hours. But I can not focus long enough so that I can all the things done. The list of what I need to deal with is always too long for me to manage. If I can have more time. I prefer it in the morning. Because I go to bed quite late at night and get up late too. When I finish my breakfast, I just 2 hours or so in the morning. Thus I want a little more time in the morning so that I can have a longer time to stay focus to read my books.

Yes I do feel I don't have enough time to do what needs to be done. (By the way I smoke-but am trying to quit) If I had more time I would like the morning time, its more quite and not so crazy.

Good luck with your endeavor. I know its not easy to try to quit smoking. I tried to once a couple of months ago, but was not successful.

i would prefer more time in the morning because that is when i seem to have the most energy and those first few hours fly by in the morning when i need them most. i hit the ground running when i get out of bed and then get my son up for school and make his lunch and breakfast and have my coffee and check some emails before we fly out the door. i drive him to school and he takes the bus home. then i babysit for a 4 year old 5 days per week and two of those days he is here as soon as i get back from taking my son to school. by then it is 9 am and i feel like i am already getting overwhelmed because i have a million things to do in addition to taking care of him all day. by bed time i am sooooo tired. i guess i could use a few more hours at the end of the day too now that i think about it!!

I used to be like that( the only thing I don't do is drink coffee). I'm a natural morning person. With the help and support of my loved one. We had got work at home. Thru some online organizations. At first things were slow. After a while the started to pick up. Now, we have all the time we need. Surprising enough, we do not get on each others nerves. It was very hard to get anything done with full time work, and children. Now we are doing so many different things, it is getting to be too much. It is not a bad thing at all. We just need to cut back a little to stop and smell the roses. I found it easier to just make my own time. Well o.k, it was not that easy to get to where I am at. Far easier than putting in full time at something one does not enjoy too much. Good luck to you. I hope that thing will become simpler for you in your life!

I would like more time in the evening, I am a night person anyway. If I do go out I go out in the evening and when I get back home, I don't have the hours I need to do the things I want to do, like my lot of course lol.

Time is like the water in the sponge. As long as you jostle, you will have. So,don't complain of the time that you haven't enough time. The time is same and fair to everyone. If you think what things is important and urgen, you will do it as effective as you can and do your best to complete it.If you have enough time, what you want to do ?If you know this, you will have enough time,I believe.

i prefer evening but i'll choose morning. every morning i wake up very early, in fact i make myself wake up early by setting 3 alarms. then i do this or that to kill time. but actually i do think that doing things in the morning is much better. cause if i stayed up too late, it's not very good for skin, and not very good for the working status in the next morning. and i'm trying to changing working in the evening by sleeping early and getting up early. it's good for health probably. things turned out that i sleep early, yeah, i make it, but i don't do anything in the mrning even if i wake up at 6AM. Awful, isn't it

I know what you mean, the time flys by so fast when on the internet. I don't know how to find time in a day to accomplish all i need to. I think you are like many others. The morning is the best time for me to get it all done, by the afternoon i'm so busy.
