Now I have heard of people that are attached to their cell phones, but this is ridiculous: http://www.physorg.com/news122819670.html Seriously this is a cool device with a lot of potential, a cell phone is the smallest of features this could be capable of. I kind of want one LOL. Would you get one?

As interesting and SCI Fi as this is I have one big concern. That is scar build up in the artery itself eventually cutting off blood flow or allowing plaque to build up at the scar site. But wow what an amazing concept. And No I will not be running out to implant a cell phone in my arm any time soon.

I think the designer of this overlooked the obvious feature that is a morphing tattoo, forget the phone aspect, I don't even want that. But if I can have a tattoo that changes according to my mood, now THAT would be cool :D.

This is just way too much. It has a lot of potential, including the fact that forgetful people like me could never lose it. But I would rather stick with the handheld version. This is just way too much.

Well its not a complete phone, so you'd still have a hand held unit, its just an interface for your phone. It would allow you to dial and see the phone display etc. but it would not include a speaker and mic or a cell transmitter.

I still need a cell phone??? At first I was just thinking "Eww" but now I see that this will be one of those things that you get to say "Look what I got!" I have never been that type of person, so I really don't want it now.

Right now I don't have a cell phone, basically because I don't feel the need to be in constant contact with the outside world. I don't need a leash around me. With this it would be even worse. You couldn't leave it anywhere when you wanted some solitude. No thanks. Not for me at all. Too much like lo-jacking to me. Now though I could see something similar being used for those who might have need to contact emergency services. Much like the necklaces they have where you push a button and it calls 911. This could be used like that for those who needed it. That could be beneficial in limited ways but that is about it that I would want to have it.

You kind of want one Myrrdin? What a shocker!!! ( GEEK!!! ) I'm all weirded out by the thought of the incision and having the device inserted. EWW!!! But I really like Emerald Isle's thought on how it could be an excellent emergency calling device. That and the fact it would have a tracking signal. Then again, that would take away from personal freedoms again. You sure you still want one? lol
