work is like sleep

Okay, so here we go...
If my whole life is a continuous journey then I think the parts of my life where I am hard at work is most like the part of my journey where I am sleeping. After a hard day of dreaming, moving, thinking, talking, and being -- what could be better for the soul of my journey than I nice solid day of stupid mindless work that has nothing to do with my passions or interests or really any part of me at all? It's perfect! Does anybody see what I'm saying here?

This highly spiritual. I really do not get it. but, what I feel that you wanna say is you still have not found the type of life you want and you are looking for a better life. you wanna find your self. do what you want or even have your own business. that is what I think.

No I really do not see where you are coming from.You say after a hard day of dreaming moving,thinking and taking and being.Then your work is mindless and stupid and has nothing to do with your passions and interests.What you are saying is you do not like your job?

not really, I have trouble following you are you saying goofing around is fun and meaningful and working is crazy?
