Tips for page views on Associated Content??

I just started posting at Associated Content not too long ago and so I don't have too much stuff submitted. But I've been very successful at receiving upfront payment from them. I'm just having a problem getting more page views. I've done the social bookmarking thing, put the links on my blog, signed everyone in my family up as subscribers, etc, but still it does not seem like I'm getting many page views at all. Any tips from the wise ones out there? You can find my page on AC by searching for 'Mary Daniel.' Thanks for the help.

I have been doing a few things - I am not making a ton of money - maybe $1.50 a month, lol. The first thing to do is devote some time to just commenting on people's articles. If you do this for an hour, comment on 30 articles, you should get 30+ page views back from it. Another helpful method is joining stumble upon - it's kind of confuzing, they make you install a toolbar but then you can submit your articles to stumble upon and as you add friends/etc. that will help. If you have a blog, write about something your wrote on AC on your blog. Of course the blog has to have a few readers, lol. If you're really adventurous you can answer people's forum discussions with a link to your article if it's related. (yahoo answers is good for this sometimes) You might want to read my 2 AC articles: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/689125/7_tips_for_writing_great_online_articles.html http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/634197/5_sites_every_writer_should_belong.html Leave me a comment on a few of my articles and I will comment on yours :) Good luck!!

I'd like some tips myself. I started on Associated Content last month and I only have 160 views. I don't know if this is good or bad, but I'll take it. I guess you can put your site's url on website Digg or something like it. But, that hasn't helped much for me, if at all. It also helps if you join message boards and use the AC address as your signature.

I usually make some really popular game reviews (Which is all I write about), so I suppose you can do the same, so, you can write things about: love, toys, kids maybe even comedy. Some ways I've used to promote page views are Digg and on forums. Some people may react to the forums thing saying that you are begging for money ect. Where as others will help you and view your pages. Hope this helps
