Tonight was my sons first baseball game of the season and they one. 9 to 8. He struck out the first time up to bat, hit one to right field the second time up and hit a grounder his third time. Caught a pop fly and tagged a runner at third. I'm so very proud of him. He's been playing since he was four, he's now ten. He wants to play pro when he gets older. I just wanted to share it with all my friends here at mylot. Have a good night and i'll see you all tomorrow.

Congrats on his good game. He sounds like quite the player. My son played baseball for alot of years and my husband coached. The ballpark was one of our favorite places to go this time of year! You posted this a month ago...how is the team doing? I hope you and your son are enjoying the season.

oh definately. he knows that and does very well in school. he want to go pro when he gets older and i told him he has to go to college first cause thats where they draft players from and to get in a college you have to have good grades. so he does understand. thank you so much for responding.

we get such a proud feeling when our children do something great or even good don't we. hehe congratulations so much to you and your son. hehe so he's a short stop(correct spelling?) i can't believe he's been playing since so young. my son's 5 this year and i don't see him getting any interest in sports any time soon.
