I was coming home from a little drive I took to the country today and I thought I would take a little country road rather than the freeway and I was so amazed at how low down the planes come down before they even reach the airport, so I pulled over and was just fascinated as I watch about five planes come in what seemed so close to the top of the trees, absolutely wonderful, have you ever just sat and watched those bid birds coming in to land...

They are amazing aren't they. I live rather close to an airport so I see them coming in quite regularly and sometimes I swear it looks like they are just going to land right on top of the houses!

I love to see the planes land, sometimes we would go to the airport just to look at the planes take off or land, it was so graceful, so beautiful.

They could be nice to watch but in my last flight it's one of the scariest. Some pilots don't have the great skill to land smoothly. I had experience it a couple of times when the rollers touch the ground abruptly and I had a jolt on my seat. It wasn't good.

I may be terrified if I was one of your accompaniers on the plane. The carsickness kicks me everytime and I think I must be airsickness too. So please don't laugh at me, because I have not been emplane in my life.

Oh no, I'm never gonna laugh at you. I totally understand the feeling you have. Some friends I know of they are afraid to fly for fear of plane crash. It's a normal feeling.

Me, i sometimes sit and watch the sunset. We have all our busy days everyday and it is okay to sit for a while, appreciate what God has given to us. Sunset means end of the day, the time for rest and preparation for another day. I thank God for giving me a chance to witness his Glorious job and gift to us.

I have seen that same sight about a thousand times when i worked at an air terminal abroad... different kinds of airplanes... the small ones and the large ones... and both are equally a sight to behold... but i can never forget when a small plane glided to the runway because the engine stopped working... good thing the pilot is quite a genius...

My dad used to fly for fun, so I love planes. I used to go flying with him when I was a little girl. They fascinate me still. So, yes.

Hun is a pilot, so I can't even count the number of planes I've seen land! They are mostly the light planes because we hang around at a municipal airport about 12 miles away from us where Hun has many of his customers. When he was recovering and ferrying airplanes, I loved watching him land... it meant he was home safe!

We love airports, we are never lucky enough to get to go and actually catch a plane to go on one for a holiday, but every so often we take a day out to a big airport!! It is good fun actually, we have 4 kids and so we make a day of it, have something to eat and buy them a little momento and we just go and watch all the big planes taking off and coming into land. It always amazes me, how something so big can fly like that!!

Yes, and it's fascinating. I remember when I was stationed in Hawaii during the Gulf War and we had huge planes (C5s) coming in to Kaneohe Bay Marine Base. They are big cargo aircraft that hold up to three helicopters and several tons of other gear. The air station is very small and surrounded by water and those huge bellied creatures almost didn't make it into the air before they ran out of runway. It was the scariest thing to be on the ground watching that (and no doubt those with an inside seat felt the same way!)

No experience of this kind happened on me before. I think it is really a curious affinity for me. Too many accidents on plane in the air takes away the idea of emplane.
