If you love a movie, the chance is you'll get the DVD or movie related items as well. Or you enjoy staying at home movie-watching experience, or you simply want to pick some copies that you miss in theaters. So what DVDs (or movie related items) have you get recently? My new addtions are Cloverfield, There Will Be Blood and Heroes Season 1.

Well our most recent purchase was "Sweeny Todd" which I have to admit was very good. They went a bit over board at times with the blood but I've seen far worse on that. The music was fantastic and the storyline was very interesting as well. Prior to that we found two collections of series we bought. One was the original "Planet of the Apes", "Beneath The Planet of the Apes" and "Escape from Planet of the Apes". The other was the original "Omen", "Damien Omen" and "The Final Conflict". We found both sets at Wal-Mart for around $13 for each set so about $4 and change for each movie. We thought those were good deals.

It's always a bonus to get something you want in discount! You got great deals out of these two collections! I also like to buy those collection series, partly because they're most likely to be better versions, partly because they're usually in discount. I rented "Sweeny Todd" a while ago. It's a little bloody for my taste but the music and performance are phenomenal.

I love finding good deals like that. I also like Wal-Mart's $5 bin for DVDs. I've found a lot of good ones in there too. I agree Sweeny Todd was a bit bloody in parts but the performances and the singing was fantastic. Did you watch the behind the scenes part where it said how half the cast had never sung before? That surprised me especially once I heard them sing. They did a very good job.

I was surprised too! They sound so professional! Especially Helena Bonham Carter, she truly sung fantastically. Stephen Sondheim's music was marvelous, it made even want to check out her broadway version.

I don't get DVD's often, because I usually only watch a movie once. The last DVD I got was Ratatouille; it's one of my favorite movies. It makes me laugh every time. XD

Last weekend, I borrowed some DVDs from a certain shop. I did that to watch some movies that I haven't watched before. I borrowed Brothers Grimm, Babel and Hostel 2. They are all awesome and they made my weekend remarkable.
