Robotic vigilante: Homemade 'Bum Bot' patrols in Atlanta

This is an example of making good use of technology. The regulars hardly glance outside. They've seen bar owner Rufus Terrill's invention on patrol before — its bright red lights and even brighter spotlight blazing, infrared video camera filming and water cannon at the ready in the spinning turret on top. "You're trespassing. That's private property," Terrill scolds an older man through the robot's loudspeaker. The man is sitting at the edge of the driveway to a child care center down the street. "Go on." What do you think of that? Do you think that is an effective way to get rid of unwanted people from causing problems to your place? May be we can use that to protect our home. I think I saw this on digg a while ago... I am just wondering how long until someone decides to take a sledge hammer to that thing.
