Have any of ya'll ever put yourself on a singles site? I've never done that until yesterday.I put my photo and told a bit about myself.I'll be honest here to I didn't think anyone would reply!! I've e-mailed a few guys but I don't think I'll give out my phone number. I'm scared about the internet stuff but I do want to make new friends around here.Is there a way to get over it other than throwing your number out there, a couple of guys have asked for it

Yes, once when I was in college. I just did it for fun, well a lot of guys responded. I responded to some of them but after a while I cancel my account since I am not really interested in dating online. I just need to check it out coz I am curious

I did the other day and like you I am curious.I would have a hard time dating someone I met online.So I guess i should cancel it

Yes I have. I have an account in FriendFinder which is a dating website. I'm a member for long now and I'm having fun being there. I get to know a lot of people and their culture too.
I'm also a part of Friendster which is a social site. You happen to know lots of singles too.
I have experiences of exchanging personal information but I tend to make it a point that I'm fully responsible once someone is messing up with my email or my phone number. My address is out of the picture of course.
