open concept classrooms

I have a question to those who are familiar with open concept classrooms. My son is starting kindergarten in the fall. He is also ADHD. All of the elementary schools in our district our open concept. I'm concerned that he will be too distracted. Is there anyone here who had an ADHD child in this type of classroom? Are there any teachers here who have taught in an open concept classroom? If so, how did the students with ADHD do, both those on medication and those not. Thanks
