Well, does it work or not? Is it worth a try? How do you stay positive when you involve with someone far away from you.? Care to share an experience perhaps? Well only if you got one.. Just want to know..

Sometimes it really works if both parties will be loyal and faithful to each other.

Yes its true, and if you really gonna be away from temptation I think your relationship will work. But you have to be together as soon as you could be.

My current partner and I were long distance for about six months. It was really horrible. He came to see me whenever he could but it was really expensive. I was going through a really hard time at the time as well so we rang up an absolute fortune on phone bills. We couldn't handle it in the end so he moved here to be with me.

yah long distance relationship really needs a lot of time and the most important thing is really communication. At least you find your way together.

its really base on the partners. if they are willin to pursue ther realtionships and looking forward to be together sumday,it cud work. ofcors they shud know the disadvantages of long distance relationships. if both are honest and loyal the trust would be fully stay with them then they can sleep at night with our worrying that they are being cheated already.ofcors they can be succesfull on it if they trully value teach others feelings...love is really unexplainable that even both of you are apart,it cud posibbly work out good because of the partners undying love.

I'm currently sorta having one now. well, my beau just got back from China, and he'll be leaving again in 7 days. The times we spent apart was unexplainable, plus it was much harder for me coz its my first time to engage in this kind on setup. I've gone back and forth asking advises from people I know who been through this, their universal reply is that trust is essential. If you wanna work it out, both of you need to put reciprocated effort. We're still holding on, and we really do hope we can pull through. =)

I'm in a long-distance r/ship myself and it was kinda hard for the first four months. i can't recall how many nights i've been shedding tears for various reasons but all concerns back to one same person. but i kept myself busy with work and my interests because i know he's making himself busy with his studies as well so not to be missing me too much. honestly, i thought i was the only one but apparently my bf wasn't doing any better. both of us are actually hurting due to the fact that we're a million miles away from each other and we're both insecure. there has been one point in time where we almost broke up due to pressures from my work, his studies and the almost dying connection between us.it was hard but we both didn't have the heart to break things off because we both believe that we are meant to be with each other and if we are patient, there's no challenges we cannot overcome and no stormy weather can put out the flames of love =) initially, i believed that constant or frequent communication is essential to a LDR but after six months, i've realized that trust, faith and love precedes all importance. if you're worry, your partner's worry too. if you're confident & strong, so would them because they wouldn't just sit by idly and watch you do the fights alone right? love is a two-way street. XD so, if you believe you can run the distance along with your partner, just go for it. have faith and believe in the love that you have.
