cat acting like a dog

I have had cats that loved to play fetch and they also would sit up and beg like a dog. I've even had cats that would walk on the leash beside me. Right now I have one that my mini doxies are trying to teach to bark! It's a riot because the dogs will bark and look at Willy, who meows. The look they give is one that kind of says, "come on, we gave you the words, now bark". It's like they hold barking classes for the cat. I have to laugh because it is bark bark meow when company comes to the door.

hello carolluvyou, well actually what we have is the opposite. you see we have a puppy and we think that our dog thinks that he's a cat. I mean instead of barking we heard him meow. At first we didnt believe that it was him that maybe a cat was just nearby but after hearing our dog do it several times we're sure that it was him. Its kinda funny though having a dog that is not doggy enough...lol
