Do you read your local newspaper? I hardly ever do. We have a local forum, which is where I keep up with most things. I rarely buy our local paper and actually read it. What about you?

I usually only read the news online these days if i read it all...trhe only parts i ever really liked about the newspaper before were the crosswords and comics, so it just didn't make much sense for me to get it.

No I dont go and buy it but we do get a free smaller version posted every week and I do read that. Its nice to read up about whats happening near to me and they often have lots of things for sale and days out cheap for the kids so I like looking at all that.

Yeah. I read the local newspaper all the time. Especially online. I read the Glens Falls newspaper to view what is going on in the Glens Falls vicinity in Upstate New York. It is www.thepoststar.com. That way I do not have to buy a paper at all. I just look up the news online.

hey amyhendricks77, well actually I really never put an effort on reading newspapers. Whenever I need to know the news I just surf the internet for the latest news or just watch some news on TV. I only check the papers for some fun stuffs on the entertainment section like movie schedules and some comics...lol ^_^

I read it almost everyday, not because I like it or I buy for it. Because in the hotel I've worked, I got it delivered everyday and the display are on my desk, so if guests are asking for newspaper I'll just hand it right away.. Since if I wroked in the morning shift there wont be guests around until about 9 am, I read the newspaper to keep me occupy, plus keep me updated on what happened.. Mostly I dont really like politics or criminal news.. so I skiped them most of the time...

nope. i dont read and watch news, local or foreign. its depressing. if i happen to have a newspaper in hand, its always in the beauty & health section. i'd rather read showbiz gossip than read news.

I live in the capital, and read our local paper every day. The paper I get is very much like the national ones, and I think everyone will find interesting topics nomatter where they live. We also hold a local paper from the place my man grew up. that one I find extremely boring and insignificant. It mostly contains what I call gossip.

What our 5-minute read newspaper? Okay I joke a bit however I'd rather invest the money I would have spent on it for a good book. Now I'm not opposed to newspapers yet I think there are better ways to get the information out to most people .. for example the internet. Yes I know not all people have computers and not all people like to read their news online. Having said that I have to add that nothing is more fun than to sit in the cafe drinking coffee and reading the Sunday newspaper (smile).

Like you i dont really buy my local newspaper either. But i do form time to time read the paper online. Our Newspaer has a website as well as a paper version. For my lifestyle thats much better than having to pick up a paper and actually read it.
