What would you do If you saw a strange who was drunk getting into a car to drive

If you saw a stranger who was obviously drunk what would you do??
Would you try to talk them out of driving?? Would you take their keys away??
Would you call 911?? Say it was a man or woman with children? Would that make it easier to stop them??
if i saw someone who was drunk and trying to get into their car I would probably try to talk them out of it and in the mean time call 911. I know that drunks and cars don't mix well.

I would call the cops and follow them so the cops can find them.

I would try to talk if I could or at least get the license number and call 911. I just wouldn't let them drive off and possibly kill themselves and other people as well.

I would like to say I wouldn't talk to them and just call the police as I know what some people can be like when they are drunk - they can be very aggresive . I think though that in all honesty I would try to talk them out of it - especially if they had children in the car with them! Anyone who gets behind the wheel of a car drunk is an accident waiting to happen and deserves whatever happens to them which isn't true of the thousands of innocent victims drunk drivers kill on the roads, or even the sidewalk! xxx

Calling 911 is for serious things. And sadly reporting someone for drunk driving is not that serious of a thing. You should call the local police department and report the make, color, style and the licence plate to the authorities and they will deal further with it. Trying to talk them out of it and taking their keys away might get you into a perdicament that you can't get out of it. In my experience of drunk drivers and taking their keys away let alone a stranger can turn out into a battle of who can come out ontop. You do not know the person who is getting into the vehicle so why would you put youself into that situation? And with talking to them you might inferiate them more and they might come hit you etc. Best thing to do is call the police department.
