Elvis impersonators

We have a guy around here that impersonates Elvis and I must say he does a pretty good job of it. I was working at the nursing home and when they told me that he was coming in and referred to him as Elvis I just looked at them. Then came the day for him to come in. This was the first year I had worked at the nursing home. When I say him I couldn't believe it. He was the spitting image of Elvis and his voice sounded exactly like Elvis. After the first time whenever he came back to the nursing home which he did on a pretty regular schedule I always made it a point of being there.

lol Lucky you!! :))) I never met a real Elvis impersonator in person, but a friend of mine does sing occasionally 'like Elvis' (& is a big fan too, so he's full of info on Elvis etc.!) I love listening to the songs he does 'Elvis-style' lol, or when he mimics 'the King' a bit, though they are so different it's almost like comedy/parody!! lol There are a few Elvis-impersonators in Slovenia, basically one that doesn't look much like 'The King' (okay, maybe in the 'later years'..) & one rock'n'roll/rockabilly singer of a band that used to be pretty good, but they've gone bad/too commercial!! (& no longer 'authentic'/genuine Elvis-style!!:)) It must be so much fun to meet elvis-impersonators!! I really hope I get to some day!! :))
