What's worse-maggots or cockroaches?

lol, i havn't really had to deal with maggots before...but i'm sure i'd dislike them more. like once, i woke up and there was a cockroach sitting on my pillow in fron of my facce! but like, i didn't kill it or anything, i just threw it out my front door...lol however, i've heard of someone in my band who got maggots in his mouthpiece, and i'm just like "gross!", so ya, i agree that maggots r worse

Maggots are icky, gross and disgusting - but at least they stay where they belong - cockroaches infest and breed and make filthy what they don't actually distroy.

I guess I would rather deal with getting rid of roaches than deal with maggots. Though, I believe maggots probably serve a useful purpose, I would prefer they took care of business elsewhere.

Hi coffeshot! Yikes! Both freaks me out but I think maggots are far more worse. I just don't like them and it really makes me shiver when I see one. Can't even touch one. Cockroaches, I can tolerate but not maggots. Just my thoughts dear friend! Take care and have a nice day!

I hate bugs of all kinds. I can't even say which one is worse- they are both equal oppourtunity disgusters for me.

ewww! I think maggots are worser than Cockroaches. i can handle the cockroaches, but not the freaking nasty maggots! EWWW GROSS!

Definitely cockroaches. I think because I see them more often. I am not sure I have seen a maggot up close and personal before. Plus cockroaches FLY!

I wouldn't say I am phobic of either but maggots are definitely creepy. I don't blame you for having a fear of them! It's been rare for me to see maggots, in fact I don't remember when it was last when I did. However that was brave of you to let the cockroach crawl up your arm. Again I don't really have a fear of cockroaches either, but I sure don't like them LOL. The other day my daughter and I saved a ladybug that somehow had gotten into our house. We coaxed it back outside and it flew away. I admit I was in awe with that experience.

My vote is for maggots to be worse. Cockroaches just want to eat scraps of food left over by humans. Maggots, on the other hand, are associated with garbage, bacteria, rotting flesh, foul smell, then they grow up to become flies which really bother me because they land on my food! It really grosses me out whenever they eat maggots in the show Fear Factor. I've also seen on TV that some Europeans eat cheese with maggots. Yuck!

Hi Coffeeshot I am like you maggots make me feel dirty. gross yucky.. I do shake but no scream but I would never ever save a cockroach. I don't understand why anyone would not kill a cockroach. Evidently you have never had them in your house crawling over everything and once you get them it is hard to get rid of them. yuck gross

maggots definately are worse,they are gross.i can not stand the little critters,i would rather find a cockroach anytime than a maggot.i usually get maggots in the garbage bin outside if it has been extremely hot.cheers sue

They are both disgusting. But if I had to choose which was worse I would say maggots as they seem to multiply and bombard your cupboard. Getting the creeps jst thinking about the slimy little maggots.

well they are pretty much bth nasty things i think they sre both gross i hate sumer time when th garbage gets maggots i make someone else do the garbage when that happensand cockroaches i know there nasty and i would never live with them eather because that is just nasty

ok, if you are weird then you are not the only one. I am really freaked out by maggots and worms roaches and any other "things" I can deal with. I do not believe in killing...anything! Spiders, roaches, anything. But when it comes to worms and maggots I really freak out, I don't kill them, oh and slugs. But I get as far as I can from them and get someone to deal with them. Is this weird or what, lol. It's not funny when I see them, not at all. I get the creepies all over. I don't like roaches either but they are just hard to get rid of if you ever get them. In the South the are very evident.

Well, both are pretty gross, but I think maggots are the one I like least! Though having lived in an apartment with a cockroach problem for about a year (the landlord blamed one of our neighbors for the problem, but never managed to eradicate the cockroaches), I will be totally happy if I never see another cockroach in my life!

I have to say both are grosssssssssssss. maggots are easy to get rid of where roaches it takes alot of time. So I would say roaches as they get into everything and make a mess every where. Dang and I was thinking about eating lunch-not now-LOL

MAGGOTS are probally one of the most disgusting things on this planet. Besides how icky they look. They smell so terribly bad. I dont like cockroaches either. I cant say that I would go as far to save one.

hmmmmm. this is a tough question. i hate bugs period. i especially hate cockroaches though because they are so hard to kill and so hard to get rid of once you have them and they can multiply so quickly. they are just so disgusting especially the ones that hiss.
