Do you get upset to see low response to your topic ?

Yesterday,I was upset with myself only as I could not attract mylotters to my discussions.I had posted 5 topics which I feel that they had the capacity to make mylotters respond.The topics were not stupid as all 5 of them were about the social problems of human beings.I just got only 3 responses on the whole.I am really disappointed with this.I am trying hard in mylot.I had three personal friends who were previously in mylot but now they have stopped visiting this site.I have no personal friends any more who can give regular responses to my topics.

It doesn't really upset me... i have discussion that garnered only 1 or 2 responses... but i am quited satisfied... because the responses were well thought off and not one liners... aside for that... it is so very easy for me to comment back when there are only a few responses...
Not that i do not want a lot of members to response... but i look at the positive side of it...

Hi there goswamy!When I was new to mylot, I used to start lots of discussions. I used to be upset when I don't get much responses for them too.
But now, after about a year, it doesn't affect me much anymore. Actually, up to now, I still have discussions without any response on it.

there are a lot of reason why your discussion has low responses. i too had a lot of discussion who has 2 or 1 response only. but what can we do? maybe we think it was a good discussion but they find it boring or just a simple discussion.

I do not get upset when there are low responses. It's natural for me. I do wanna get responses that have meaning and full of ideas.

no i don't get upset when no one responds to my topic. i guess not everyone shares the same interest that i have. for me, its enought that i get to share my thoughts in other discussions. if i do post a new topic, i don't set expectations as to the number of responses it will get. i'll be happy if it gets 1 or 100. i really don't mind.
