I love to write, but recently have been drawing big blanks. I write on Helium but haven't been inspired by many existing titles. I also write on Triond, but not real active there yet. I also download my thoughts about my life's journey in my blog. And I write at least one big paper for school every five weeks.
So, I've got all these places to write, and all these things to write about, but I'm just not feeling it lately.
My passions are education and spirituality(call it faith, religion, belief, whatever). But I also like to write children's stories, curriculum, and how to's.
Is there anything that you'd like to see more of out there? What about the things that there's too much of?
Thanks in advance for your comments!

I call what you have the "Block Monster". It's terrible. I have an article up on Associated Content that you can read. It will give you a great exercise to help get rid of the block and start producing again. Have you ever tried writing for AC? It's a great site. I am signed up with Helium, but have yet to post on them, although I'd like to. If you aren't signed up on AC, I am giving you my referral link, I have a network of friends on there that exchange page views. It really helps. I would be willing to help you get started. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/47900/how_to_master_writers_block.html (For the writer's block article)

I'd love to read some of your Helium articles as well. What is your link to them. I hope the article helps you. This exercise always stimulates my creative juices.

Thank you very much, I will go read that article now. I like your title for this issue. I tried once to register fo AC, but it never went through. I'm not sure if it was my computer, its connection, or site issues, but I eventually gave up and tried elsewhere.
Here's my Helium link www.helium.com/users/392522
I don't have many there due to the Block Monster :) But will be adding more soon.

Give AC another chance. They have made many improvments and are making more in order to broaden the sites ratings. I love it there. I too am a member of Helium, but as of yet haven't published on the site, although I hope to by the end of the week. I will certainly go read your articles on the site and rate them. Happy Writing. Glad to have you on my friends list.

Well, I used your link, and started the registration process again. But still have not recieved the confirmation email. How long does that usually take? This is the same problem I had last time.

You asked for a good topic... you GOT IT!
I noticed on your Helium page that you are religious - Christian. As someone who is anti-religious, but very spiritual, and is working on the same concept that I will share momentarily, I think your point-of-view on the concept would be interesting... here it is: UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! Simple right? Hardly!
In my opinion, the religious (including you) do NOT really understand this concept as it is contra-intuitive to your cultural and religious instruction. Simply to be a Christian, for example, and without any malintent, you have to accept a certain dogma that by its very existence demonstrates you do not understand or embrace the concept of a God/ess who loves without conditions. I am sure you feel otherwise and would LOVE to read your rebuttal; hence, my reason for sharing it with you.
Another topic, and please understand I am not meaning to sound sexist, is: women's reason for attending college. I offer this due to my dismay with one woman in particular that I went to college with (University of Alaska) who despite her intellectual and spiritual genius wanted to earn a bachelor's degree and then become a housewife so that her children would know she did something in life. Then as now I find this position bewildering and cannot understand. I would, personally, love a woman's perspective on similar concepts.
Enough topics? If not email me and I will be glad to propose more!
Love and light.

You gave me some good ideas to start with. But I wonder why you suggest I am a religious person? I only stated that my passion is my Lord, and I like to write about religion. I personally don't believe in religion as a positive thing. My relationship with my Lord is very personal and it is not dictated by a set of rules or a dogma. But your thoughts and ideas did really strike a chord with me, that will surely end up on one of my sites soon. Watch for it!
As for the women going to college to earn a degree just to prove to their children it can be done...I
'm with ya there, I don't get it. I do understand that they want to be a role model. But part of the model I want to set for my children is that education isn't a waste of time, it is meaningful and full of worth. I am attending college for a different reason than these women do. This will surely end up on one of the sites as well, so watch for it too.
Thanks for your idea starters.
