This sounds like a great idea to reach those without an internet connection. I hope that the small cost to the consumer for this book will help support the ongoing cost of maintaining the significant hardware that is needed to serve up Wikipedia to the on-line world which is the primary goal. Up to this point, I believe the site is funded through donations and volunteers. Thanks for bringing this to our attention - I, at least, was unaware of this development.

I love using Wiki...they have so much information there and I can look up just about anything.
A few weeks ago, I wanted to find out about Typhoid Mary...I've heard about her but didn't know anything about her. I went and read up on it on Wiki and learned a ton of stuff about her.
I can kind of see the point in a printed version...for those that perhaps don't have access to the internet. It would be nice if everyone could learn from Wiki.
