There has been a few fun ones but they do seem to be slowing down maybe the weather has something to do with it.

I have just deleted about 15 discussions from my in box for the same reason you have just said, they are mindless. I think what it is is the end of month rush for people to try and make pay out, so they just throw any old thing in the board, please, don't insult my intelligence, what little I have left, LOL. I was glad to come across your discussions because frankly I was ready to shut it down.

wow I thought I was the only one. I was on here a couple hours ago and couldn't find anything to repond to. For the same reasons as you. I'm trying to come up with something to discuss, but for the like of me I can't. I'm bored too.

I am keeping busy with the ones in my email inbox.. I was having trouble keeping up with them and trying to post to all of them, but have since learned to delete the ones that I had no interest in or didn't know anything about.. I am not sure that I would call all of them interesting, but I do love to "talk" and I just open my mouth and jump in whether it is interesting or not.. I am trying to build my numbers up and learn while doing it, so I just try and answer everything that I can.. Hope you find some really good discussions on here, good luck and Have a great evening.. Hi speedy yes actually there is a slowness in decent topics.. However My box seems full of topics that I haven't gotten to myself... I do want to get threw them today... As a matter of fact I have 359 e-mails that I haven't opened yet and 90% of them are from mylot... I know I've replied to some of them with out even going to my in box... Soon enough though some good ones will come along just need a wait a bit for that.. Hopefully you will find something in your interest!

If I could ever catch up with what is in my inbox I might be thinking the same thing. Though I have to admit there are days that all I do is delete them, because I don't have anything to add. But I've got 2000 in my inbox that at this rate will never get to them. I've been surprised, I don't start many discussions, but right now I have several of my discussions that I started a year ago when I first became a member and they are still getting responses to them.

Hi Speedy.. I read this discussion and went hmmmmmmm how do I feel about this? Then I realized that I haven't been here very much during the last couple of months and I am at a loss as to whether there are/are not good discussions of late. In my experience here I have never felt that way because of the circle of friends that I have developed over the past 11 months. The members I most commonly chat with have reputations for posting interesting, informative discussions. Some of them are DarkWing, Pyewacket, The Programmer, Aussies, One and One Makes Six, VistorVision. I cannot say for sure that they are still posting interesting discussions because I haven't checked them all out since getting back in the last couple of days...but I would be surprised if they had changed their style. I know for sure DarkWing posted an interesting one on Forgiveness...so if you check my friends list they are there and if you see what they have posted you might be pleasantly surprised. LOL. I thought I was the only one feeling this way. I just felt I had no 'mind connection' with the discussions. well, mostly I would just stay back for a while, perhaps the cause was from my own mind (that's what I thought about myself). sometimes I couldn't even feel good when I got online, so I would just turn on the TV to get some refreshing and would get back to check for any new discussion again. but if there was no discussion I could respond to, sometimes I would start one discussion on my own. of course, not many people responded to my discussions, however, at least I know I still have interaction. anyway, I'm glad I can respond to yours. this is one good discussion I could find for today, before having my dinner. hope you would find the good discussions later. have a good day or night.

I tend to find that is gets lively about 4pm or 5 pm in Uk time so bout 40 mins or an 1 hour and 40 mins. I thik this is when peopel are home more or have big ideas for discussions!! I sometimes find it hard to reply to discussions aswell for the same reason as you. Also if it has had loads of responses I wont reply. Hopefully some good discussions will come along soon, very soon!!

I am new to mylot. Today is my first day. To be honest I am going to experiment with the discussions to see if it is worth the money. Do you all make enough money for it to be worth it? Can anyone tell me what they think their average pay is for each decent post to a discussion? I do like to meet people. Don't get me wrong. I have a lot of opinions about a lot of things. I also have a lot of questions about a lot of things. So, I do think that I will enjoy participating in mylot discussions. I also have a family (husband, 3 year old son, and 5 foster kids) though, and I need to use my time wisely. Of course if the money is worth the time spent, then it will all be worth it. I won't need to feel guilty about my time spent online. Well, I am here if anyone would like to respond. Thank you for your time....in advance.
