to know which is most preferred by computer users nowadays...whether they choose windows vista or windows xp as their Operating system.

Well-made friend I need maximum output from my computer because buying and animated by profession I need the maximum output from my computer to run that the software is end that is something I have to compromise in the latest version of Windows. That is the reason why I preferred using the older version because it is very stable, less heavy on the system resources of my present computer. And that is reason why I feel it is a better chance. Apart from that I feel that the interface is very clean in easy-to-use and so I don't want in a big change so that I have two learned the new operating system game.

well i think its an outstanding statement that XP is preferred compare to vista...i dont have a vista but i was able to use two version of vista, the basic and the home premium...first the security measures are annoying, they keep on asking if you would allow or not...second, the support to other softwares are not that stable...third, you can't enjoy the power of your system, its because vista eats up a lot of your system's resources.

XP, because my computer is working bad with vista.Shurely Vista will be the next generation of OS , but now, the XP version of WINDOWS is better than Vista.

I definitely prefer Windows XP than Windows Vista. Reasons being, XP has been around longer and have been made more reliable with the service packs; currently, its service pack 2 while service pack 3 is going to be out...
Windows Vista is still new and even the first service pack 1 is not officially downloadable. And there's no certainty that with the service pack, the OS will run better and more stable.

i've used both of them and honestly i would rather have the windows xp, because whenever i got windows vista it was and has always just been problems for me and i don't really like it whenever i am trying to work and i just have more and more problems with something...it just seems like everytime i start doing something that teh computer messes up or something

I am so glad that you asked this question!! I so totally prefer WINDOWS XP. I have a laptop and a desktop computer. My desktop has xp and my laptop has vista. Xp works so much faster than vista. Vista tends to be a lot more slower than the Xp operating system. So i will take XP any day!!
