Why am I still watching The Simpsons........

My boyfriend is a major fan of The Simpsons and will watch it religiously, everyday at 6pm on Channel 4 even when he has to go to work at 6pm he will turn it over just to get a glimpse.
Why do I find myself still watching it even though I hate it???
Do you ever find yourself watching something someone else has put on even though they arent watching it?

Yep, everytime I go to visit my Mum she'll have some awful programme on the TV and I'll watch it. I am amazed you hate The Simpsons though!

Its not as much hate, it does bore me!! I think I leave it on as I tend to watch hollyoaks which is on after!!!
Its even worse when he has seen it but he still has to watch it!!!

Hehe, it doesn't help that channel 4 seem to keep putting repeats of it on!

Yes I find myself watching things all the time that I dont actually like, especially the simpsons but both my girls love it and its only half an hour I always plan to go and tidy up the kitchen or something then before I know it im sat there with the kids half way through the simpsons

It was worse when I had to babysit my boyfriends niece the other week, she loves Cbeebies so has that on at every given chance!! She even knows the channel number so she types it in!! She is nearly 5 though!!
