maybe not necessarily so. letting go of something or someone is always difficult. maybe you have been so attached to this person that you fear what it would be like to be just on your own feet again. or perhaps, you feel betrayed?

Well yes i can see your point, i was hurt badly and maybe that is why it is taking me the time to get over this

when you love someone with all your heart you put all your dreams and expectations in that person,you give yourself totally..you start feeling like a whole and not a half anymore...you build your world around him..and when he leaves,everything crushes down on your head...the world that you've built,the dreams,and hopes...you feel lost and lonely,and feel like you lost a part of you...i know that's how i felt everytime and if it happens again i am afraid there will be nothing more left inside but pain and ash of all the heavy memories i keep..

That is one of the hardest things, when someone has been in your life for a while than bang that is it, you have no more contact with that person,

i think pride has something to do with it, too. perhaps, you just can't accept that it's OVER, and you feel betrayed at the same time. but you'll get over it, and when you do, you'll realize that it's a blessing in disguise afterall.

Because it seems that the other person did not appreciate you enough to stay in the relationship. It feels like all of your time has been wasted.
