What would you do?

I am facing a rather difficult decision that I would like some advice on. I signed up for Yuwie about a week ago or so. The day I signed up I received a message from a man. The message was titled "Job Offer". He explained he was a Russian artist. He told me a bit of his past, including his education. He also gave me a link to a website where he sells his paintings, ranging in price from $500 to around $1,000. He told me he has many customers in the U.S. and due to tax reasons, he wants someone in the states to collect payments for him. That person would be paid a 10% commission and then transfer the remainder of the payment to him, or another of his representatives. I was of course very skeptical and asked many questions. He replied back with some answers, including the information he needs from me, which would be my full name, address, phone number, and a scanned copy of my driver's license or passport. This is of course to ensure he can trust me with the payments. I replied once more asking more questions including if he could be trusted with my information. He responded claiming he could guarantee it with an affidavit signed by an attorney. I am still a bit skeptical. On one hand, if this is legit, it could be good money for doing practically nothing. On the other hand, there are many things that could go wrong by providing my personal information to a complete stranger. What would you do?

Here I am again, I would get as much information as I could from him,and if he was on the phone I would record what I was asking and what his responses were. But I dont know if that is legit, or if he respnded via emails I would copy them and take them in to the BBB ( Beter Business Bureau) Someone like him needs to be brorhgt to justice. Stay on the Alert always. That is my best advice to you.

Please don't fall for this scam on Yuwie! It has been going around for a bit on Yuwie, many of my friends, including myself has received it, funnily enough I don't live in the States. Seems kinda odd wouldn't you say! The whole money craze thing from Yuwie has given scammers a new area to target its victims, this one in perticular being pretty sad. Your best bet would be to delete the message and realize many messages that come from Yuwie are complete scams, don't fall for them! Jack
