I just happened to have lucked into finding a Nintendo Wii a couple of days ago. Would any of you Wii owners out there be so kind as to reccomend some games for it? Some info on me, I'm adult, I like adult games, I don't want a lot of kiddie stuff. I'm figuring on buying the Zelda game and Trauma Center. Beyond those two, I'm not sure what else I should look at. Any suggestions?

I'll be getting a new Wii to soon and will keep my eyes on this topic. I personally just can't wait to play Wii Sports. I've seen demonstrations of it on You Tube and it just looks like an absolute blast! The whole family is looking forward to getting our Wii where we can enjoy the Wii Sports game!

Wii Sports is fun, there is no doubt. I'm particularly fond of bowling, baseball and boxing. Tennis is fun too. I'm liking my Wii, it's definetly NOT a PS3 or Xbox, but it is unique and much cheaper.

Smash Brothers Brawl is on there. If you want, you can also see if you want a Madden entry for Wii. There is also virtual console which has NES, SNES, Sega, Turbografx, Neo-Geo and N64 games on it. Remember that Gamecube games can also be played on Wii, so thats open too (Metroid Prime, Timesplitters for example). "I'm adult, I like adult games" Too bad there's not much market stateside for Visual Novels: "eroge" genre. Just saying.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm going to be renting a lot of games I think trying to figure out which ones I want to buy and keep. I have however noticed that there must have been a rush by the third party companies to put out games for the wii, because there are so many that look like crap, and well games that were rushed out just to have something on the market.

Howdy Handsome.... I am not a gamer at all, and certainly not for the gaming consoles we own, but we bought Jake one for Christmas and I am crazy about it.. Of course we all love the sports, bowling and tennis are my favorites and its great when I have all the kids here and their families its something everyone can play... Right now we are playing Mario galaxy, if you were a fan of Mario you will love this one. You will indeed like Zelda and of course Guitar hero 3. Jake rocks with it and has started competing in tourneys that the library holds. Smash brothers brawl is another one he really likes, and Mario Cart. Those are the ones that get the most play around here. You are really going to enjoy it.

Hey Angel. Yeah the bowling and tennis are fun, I like the golf one too. I'll have to check out Mario Galaxy and Smash Brothers, I keep hearing about those.

I just bought Destroy All Humans, but I am not sure how good it is yet as I have not gotten very far. I got Mario Kart and it is fun, even though the art /characters are childish. Bully is a blast, probably one of the best games ever made in my opinion. I agree about the kiddie stuff, there seems to be alot of childish games for the Wii. I read where one game developer stated that the Wii seems to appeal to very young kids, soccer moms and old people. I hope they start to get some more cooler titles, but the only good thing is if they continue to create childish games, I won't be spending a lot of money on a game library.

I have played both of the Trauma Center games and i loved them! However, you can complete the games fairly quickly so maybe they would be better to rent unless you can find them discounted. Zelda is a great choice as well! You won't be disappointed. Others that I would recommend would be Super mario galaxy and Smash Brothers Brawl! Also Super paper mario is a lot of fun and so funny. Resident Evil 4 is worth checking out too especially if you didn't play it already on other consoles. I would also recommend getting Wii Play because you get some fun mini games that are good for helping you get accustomed to the wii remote as well as getting a second remote which you will need in the long run anyways. have fun!
