Will you choose to disappear for a while if you met sth heartbroken

Mother of one of my friends passed away a few days ago. I don't know this until yesterday when I received a phone call from him cause ever since end Jan 2008 i've lost all his messages, calls and information. None of his friends got his number, his previous was off use. We tried to contact him through the Internet, no reply either.
Will u do this if you met something heartbroken? If not, what will u try to do to refresh yourself and recover from the wound? Pleas share

I experienced it. At that time I broke up with my boyfriend and I felt so sad. It seemed I had to go to far away place to hide myself. It's better that I stayed in a place which nobody knew me there. And this is why I flied to Beijing for a week. But my feeling didn't grow better, sad to say. My heart was still broken. I need a long time to mend up my broken heart.

Hi, youless, you've married and got a son, haven't you. Wow, it's such a long time for you to recover the loss of your boyfriend. You have to be happy and get out of that feeling, your son and family needs you, and that guy can't be bf again, you know. You both have to have your own lives.
