wisdom teeth

My wisdom teeth hurt like a mother!!! I was told I should probably get them taken out like five years ago. They hurt every now and then but each time it gets worse. I think it's about that time. Can I do this in a weekend's time?

hi there, i am a dentist. wisdom tooth is usually removed if they start giving problem repeatedly. u say its been there for the past 5 years. well first u need to take a small x ray of that tooth jus to confirm that the adjacent tooth is not damaged because of this wisdom tooth. once its done a good dental surgeon can remove it. it MAY require a minor surgical procedure. so best to do it at weekends so that u can take rest after removing it.
