different kinds of coins

Other than the paper bills we have coins for buying. right now, we are using 5 kinds although the 4 are the most commonly used. Do you like using coins, do you keep it in your piggy bank or just spend it as soon as you received it.I usually have coins in my coin purse, for easy change, for paying small amount of things, for short fare, for giving small tips.

Well, I don't really like having so many coins in my purse as it gets very heavy. I try to spend them first before reaching out to my paper bills.
I used to collect the ten baht coin which looked just like the 10 peso coin to use for the pay washing machine. They only accept ten-baht coins so I must have those coins all the time.

It is really heavy if we have all those coins in our purse. But of course coins were made to change the whole money we have. We need coins to call the phone (when call cards are not handy), to use in vendo machine, to play a song in a videoke, for a change in a public transport ride. Thanks for the response.

Oh yes they have so many uses of course. I just don't like it when I give for example 20 pesos and I get ten peso change all in one-peso. They get so heavy.
By the way, coins do last longer than the paper bills and it would be good if they can make our paper bills last longer too.

sometimes i do get irritated at the coins as they are too less and do take a lot of space
but at the same time i do feel that i need them at times so better to keep them in the purse.
very often they do come handy.

I keep a small amount of coins in my purse. These are probably used fo just what you use your for - the small amounts like buying a newspaper or small purchase. I use my debit card to make a lot of my purchases and sometimes will have no paper money with me at all. The coins get heavy so I keep them in a jar at home and cash them in ever so often.
