Is there anyone who watches classic comedy anymore. I am talking the real classics like Beverly Hillbillies or Green Acres for shows, or maybe Abbot and Costello or Doris Day comedies.

I watch Jackie Gleason and I Love Lucy every week. They are on weekends on the Comedy Network. I used to watch Beverly Hillbillies but I can't find it anymore.

Have you ever heard of the TV Land channel? I have that channel in my area through my cable company. I do enjoy Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres, Andy Griffith, Gilligan's Island, and especially I Love Lucy. Have you ever heard of WHO'S ON FIRST? I also enjoy Laurel & Hardy, Three Stooges, and Abbott & Costello.

I love Abbott & Costello films, especially WHO'S ON FIRST. And how about the COLGATE COMEDY HOUR? I really enjoy Andy Griffith, Laurel & Hardy, Three Stooges, Green Acres, I Love Lucy, Gilligan's Island, Beverly Hillbillies, and so much more classic comedies. Have you ever heard of TV Land?

All those are very funny. And yes, I have heard of tv land but have to admit I dont watch it much anymore. I used to watch it a lot, now I try and catch comedy movies on TCM or AMC. Some of the channels in our area have been airing I Love Lucy and other comedies for years on a daily basis and I have watched many of those again and again. They are still able to make me laugh.

Comedies are shows that are written to make someone laugh, they are humorous, funny, and laughter surrounds you when you watch them. Those that you named were some of my favs too.

I do watch classic tv shows occasionally. I think I have seen most of them already so I really don't have any that I watch all the time or make time fore anymore. There is one show that I LOVEd that most woulnd't consider classic, though I do. That is ALF. It was in the mid to late 1980s, so it really isn't as old as you are talking about, but I still love that wit.

I actually saw alf on something on tv just a month or so ago. Though us kids really liked alf (well one of us kids at least), the other members of the family were not so enlightened. Poor them....lol

Yeah, I do enjoy Abbott & Costello films. Also I do enjoy the Three Stooges, Laurel & Hardy, Gilligan's Island, and Andy Griffith films. Especially I love the scene: WHO'S ON FIRST. Remember on our baseball team we have Who's on first, What's on second, I Don't Know's on third. I do not think I have ever heard of the Doris Day films. Yeah, I do enjoy Beverly Hillbillies and Green Acres.

A couple of others were the Mary Tyler Moore show, the main male character in chitty chitty bang bang whose name it wount let me write had a show under his name playing Rob Petrie, laugh-in, and Hee Haw had many laughs to share as well. Thanks for the post. You really should check out those Doris Day films though, some were with Tony Randall, Rock Hudson, James Garner, Cary Grant, and some others.
